This waterfront was worst hit by the tidal wave.
The effect was disastrous as you can clearly see from the photos and nightlife was totally off but only for a few days. All damages were only at the west coast because the is no energy absorbing underwater structure the deep water is almost until the beach.
The most victims and damages where done at the Khao Lak Waterfront about 100 km north of Phuket.
