Thaniya Plaza in Bangkok

The Plaza is a Japanese domain which gets very busy at night.

During the day this is a shopping mall and in the night it transforms into a pleasure zone for the "business samurais" from Tokyo and elsewhere. Countless restaurants and nightclubs, bars, karaoke lounges and massage shops offer everything a men could imagine. 


Nightlife girls are pretty and everything is more expensive than elsewhere since they Japanese have a high allowance and they use it. On the other hand here are more pretty girls than at Patpong which is about 10 minutes further up the road because it Thailand they categorize this quite strongly which means where there is more money to be made with night activities the more pretty ones are moving.

This bustling shopping and nightlife spot in the capital is one of the reason why Bangkok is such a great Oriental Megacity. Also it's a bit chaotic as most places in Thailand are but from a city architecture point of view they do a perfect job. 

Places such as Thaniya Plaza are a ideal urban environment.

When traveling in Europe (especially in Vienna, Munich etc., US or elsewhere the boring, lifeless and quiet city centers in every bigger town are for sure not interesting and many people complain about that. Here they got the turn to have a lively environment almost 24 hours, many people like that and it creates plenty of business, pleasure and fun games.

The mall is connected to the BTS elevated train station which makes it easy to travel there.

Everything is Japanese customer oriented with golf gear shops and travel agents selling vacation all over Thailand to hit the ball. At night dozens Japanese restaurants open their doors on the street level and karaoke clubs and massage shops get busy in the 4 floors above. 

All this is oriented for sensual encounters with pretty girls and prices are quite high as everywhere Japanese are because they usually have a high end expense account. This naturally eases a pleasure driven night and lures plenty of very pretty girls in.

Not many “farang” foreigners are here only the guys from the Far East doing business here because they simply spend more money on the ladies since they follow the money. On the other side of Surawong Road is an alley with plenty of gay bars.

The plaza is directly linked by a small bridge to the Sala Daeng BTS Station, on the other side of Silom Road is another huge city mall. After eight Thaniya Plaza morphs into a small edition of Tokyo’s nightlife scene, countless Thai girls start working in the bars and massage shops around. Many are freelancer and just sitting at the road side to wait for a massage and more jobs. Nightlife places in close proximity are among other famous Patpong Bars, there is really something going on here until about 3 AM. At the next morning the shops open again at 10 AM.
